My faith journey:
I grew up in Davison, Michigan (a suburb of Flint). I’m the youngest of four boys and spent most of my childhood playing sports, especially basketball. My wife, Andrea, and I grew up in the same hometown but didn’t meet until I was actually in college at Michigan State and she was a high school senior. Seven and half years ago we got married and moved to Central Florida a week later to pursue her teaching career. God has blessed us with two precious children, Olivia and Lukas. I’ve been working remotely in marketing and SEO for the past 7 years. My wife is the Children’s Director at Grace Pointe.
Although I grew up in a believing home, I didn’t really understand the gospel. I thought Christianity was more about rule-keeping than being renewed by God’s amazing grace. I began to trust in Jesus truly in 2009-2010 when my college roommate invited me to a Cru bible study. Since then, I continue to be blessed by the way God has worked in our lives to bring us to Grace Pointe Church. We started attending the main campus of CCC in late 2014 and we’re a part of the St. Cloud launch team. In the past, I worked with Upward Sports as a coach and referee. Currently, I co-lead the Deer Creek LifeGroup. I also serve in Kids44 and as an elder. I’m excited to see how our church continues to grow together as one body with Christ and become more mature believers together.
