My faith journey:
I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and although I am a self-proclaimed east coast mutt, I call central Florida home. Through the faithfulness of children’s workers in our local church in Virginia, I put my faith and trust in Christ when I was 6 years old. I graduated from Osceola High School in 2004 and began attending Valencia College and University of Central Florida. It was during this time that I felt called into pastoral ministry and transferred to the Baptist College of Florida (BCF). My wife, Andrea, and I met in May 2007 and were married in January 2010. After graduation from BCF, Andrea and I moved to North Carolina where I completed a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Biblical Counseling (MACE) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS). After this time, I served as the Associate Pastor of Students at Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown, VA and then at Harvest Bible Chapel Niagara in Ontario, Canada. During this time, I also completed my Doctor of Ministry (D. Min) in Christian Leadership from SEBTS. Overall, I have had the pleasure to serve in various roles in pastoral ministry and Christian education since 2007.
