Grace Equip exists to equip and strengthen the church for every good work (2 Tim. 3:17).

Grace Equip is a discipleship training program designed to fit all stages in one’s spiritual development. Our aim is to equip and strengthen the church for every good work to which it is called. Grace Equip is one of the ways we make “better disciples” in our mission to “Make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ, together.” By “better disciples,” we mean that followers of Christ will become:

• Capable of Studying and Sharing God’s Word
• Strengthened in Their Biblical Literacy
• Equipped for Kingdom Service

Learning takes place within cohorts of learners who will walk through the program together, growing in their relationship with one-another as they learn together. The cohort is purposely designed to be as flexible as possible for attendees, allowing each to choose their own level of involvement and pursuit. Participants will find full-time involvement is the most enriching option.

Curriculum

Grace Equip utilizes the Timothy’s Initiative’s “Core Training Materials,” a discipleship curriculum flexible enough to train everyone. Using Timothy Initiative’s curriculum, Grace Equip can even train you for serving on a church planting team. It’s up to you how far you go with Grace Equip.

The program is composed of 10 courses, divided into 3 levels:

• Level 1  |  2 courses
  Teaching you to study and share God’s Word
• Level 3  |  5 courses
  Strengthening your overall biblical literacy, including complete surveys of both the Old and New Testaments
• Level 4  |  3 courses
  Equipping you for kingdom service

Courses are offered each Fall and Spring semester and typically on Sunday mornings. You can register here.

• Must courses be taken in order?
  Yes, we recommend courses be taken in the order shown below in the “Course Information” section.
• What does this program cost?
  Each student will be required to purchase one book per class. Each book costs $12 and is available on Amazon. Other than the cost of the book for each class, Grace Pointe Church offers Grace Equip classes at no cost to you.
• Can I purchase all program books as a set?
  Yes, all 10 program books can be purchased at once, as a set here.
• Am I required to purchase the book for each class?
  Yes, the book is an integral part of the class. If you cannot afford books throughout the program let us know and help can be made available.
